A measured beginning.
The selected Rusix identity, prepared for documentation, source repositories and small technical surfaces. Editable paths. One-color masters. A quiet, consistent system.
The working identity kit
SVG masters, PNG exports, favicon, social images, CSS/JSON tokens, guidelines and generation source. Artwork license selection is pending; review the rights note before public use.
One mark. One measured system.
Datum is the selected Rusix identity: a squared lowercase r held between opposing registration corners. The lowercase wordmark is custom editable vector geometry, not a font.
Color
#466451#202522#F2F0E8Use green on paper, paper on green, or charcoal on paper. On charcoal use the paper or white logo—not green. Do not rely on color alone to communicate status.

Space & scale
The master icon has a 128 × 128 viewBox. Reserve at least 16 master units of additional clear space outside the drawn silhouette. For the wordmark or lockup use clear space of at least one letter-stem width on every side. Preserve all proportions and registration corners.
Minimum tested screen size: 16px icon, 140px horizontal lockup. Prefer 24px icons and 180px lockups for navigation. The 16px master remains unchanged; no competing micro-mark has been introduced. Native-size samples:
Typography
Georgia with Times New Roman and serif fallbacks gives display headlines an editorial voice. Arial with Helvetica and sans-serif fallbacks carries reading and navigation. Liberation Mono with Courier New and monospace fallbacks labels technical material. These are installed-font stacks; metrics may vary. No font files are bundled or redistributed. The logo itself is font-independent.
Use the shape, not effects.
- Choose the provided single-ink green, black, white, charcoal or paper master.
- Keep the open shoulder and both opposing corners intact.
- Use the solid green avatar/app artwork when the platform needs a background.
- Do not stretch, rotate, outline, crop, add shadows, gradients or enclosure shapes.
- Do not substitute a Rust gear, Tux, a crab or another project's mark.
Say what exists.
Use “experimental Linux fork” near the project name. Linux-compatible externally and Rust-native internally describes the destination. Most of the kernel remains C. Do not imply a finished rewrite, hardware installation readiness, broad support, performance superiority or upstream endorsement.
Rights before release
Artwork licensing is pending the project owner's decision. Local download availability is not a license grant for public redistribution. The kernel's source license does not automatically license the identity. No trademark clearance or uniqueness claim is made. No upstream affiliation or endorsement is implied.
